A path of cempaxochitl flowers (flowers of the Deads) is put on the floor of a house to mark the way back home to the deads in the village of Acaxochitlan, in northern state of Hidalgo, during the festivities of the Day of the Deads. Hundreds of Native villages pay homage to their deads on the eve of November 2 as a tradition since the preHispanic times. Photo by Heriberto Rodriguez
